Q: 2 question about visa
Hello everyone ; I have 2 question ; if someone holds z visa but want to change student visa,should he/she leave the country or it can be changed while within China?
2)While holding z visa from one employer but if I want to change job even the city.I know they have to give me relase document and cancel my FEC ,how can I be sure that the school canceled it ?I know some stories ,some teachers got trouble with this and deported.That's why ı am afraid in case ı can come across with this.

Can't answer your first question.
Second one is easy..when your employer cancels your FEC they have to give you the official receipt that says it's been cancelled.

And make sure you got release letters too if you cancel your working permit if you ever wanna work here again.
Z visa is valid only 90-days and get annulled soon after the arrival to China and replaced by Residence permit. In short, after you entered China, Z visa must be changed to RP in 30-days.

Whatever you will do with your present RP sponsor leave on the friendly terms. Your employer must give you Release letter, because without it, you won't be able to get another job in China .... I think!
You could dial SAFEA (Foreign Expert Bureau) and ask them about procedure 'from RP to student visa in China'.
Enter 'SAFEA' in search above for address and contact no. in your Province.
regarding your first question: Go to the PSB. They will give you an answer. Sometimes you have to go to a particular PSB station. THe PSB will let you know.
