How do you celebrate Thanksgiving in China?
Happy Thanksgiving!
I don't do anything special to celebrate Thanksgiving here in China. No family and no turkey.
I love turkey dinner though, will have to miss it this year.

Poor us
Same with me,I celebrated my festival alone ,well ,I am working along in Shanghai.Genuine question, do Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving?
I honestly thought that was just the Americans.
I didn't even know it was our Thanksgiving until I read this thread. I'm holding out for St. Patrick's Day!
What about the Americans, you ain't gonna wish them happy thanksgiving too? Though i've just noticed Derek's post above: are they celebrated on different days?

Canadian Thanksgiving is about 6 weeks before the American one because our traditional harvest season is before the US as we are further north.
US Thanksgiving is the second last Thursday of Novemeber,,,roughly 1 month before Christmas and the official start of the silly season.
Most Canadians forget about Thanksgiving, it's not as big a deal as it is for the Americans and their. In Beijing I actually just did US thanksgiving cause it was easier to go out and get a turkey. Thanks though!
Thanks and the same to you.
I'm still in Canada and had a wonderful massive pig-out and the turkey is making me sleepy.
I'll be back in China for the US Thanksgiving but it's ok because I have had my fill now.
Gobble gobble....cheers.

Did you bring your girl friend to Canada? Where are you in Canada? I am in Vancouver back to China Shenzhen in Nov.

My gf is still in SZ. I am also in Vancouver and head back to Shenzhen next month.
Happy Thanksgiving, I'm home, I usually cook the Thankgiving and Xmas dinner for my family. I have enough left overs to feed China. I've put on 15 lbs since I've been home, these holidays will make it worse. Somebody pass me a Chinese cutie.
Its Thanksgiving??? Damn... My mommy is gonna kill me...
