I can undercut you. Give me $400000 and I will open an authentic Scottish bar with an attached Scottish chippy.

I will sell real whisky and pints of special and heavy. On your way home you can get a haggis supper wrapped in a China Daily with a deep fried Mars bar on the side.

I would even import "Star" brown sauce and picked eggs.

Aye, it'l be a braw moonlicht nicht the nicht that happens.

I mean come on. If there is one food the Chinese should have invented it has to be haggis. But the Scots beat them do it.

It's probably banned here. They have just banned UK cheese after all.

Hotwater:

Would you also create push-chair parking bays outside so the wee bairns could be left there with a can of Irn Bru & a pack of pork scratchings while the Dads got lashed inside?

That temporary cheese ban is funny. Chinese officals complsainging about food hygiene standards at a dairy that doesn't even export to China. A case of the wok calling the kettle black methinks!

ScotsAlan:

Nah. I would offer the dancing aunties unlimited free onion juice if they will dance outside my bar, and babysit the Scottish bairns at the same time.

Maybe I would put a big sign up... " Dance here, free onion juice! Dance well, free passport".

Can I put you down for $100k?  My business plan is impeccable.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
