Q: Anyone Know Any Good Chinese Hip-Hop Artists?
I've heard about Mc Hotdog, Jay Chou and Maji, but are there any others, underground or mainstream worth listening to?
More curious about underground artists since they're more likely to have the raw, gritty stuff that I'm looking for.
Just finished listening to Dr Dre's new album - is there a Chinese equivalent?!

Purple Soul is cool, one of the Chinese dudes got dread locks, really cool and their beats are like Boot Camp click, KRS ONE like...but nice and slow Then Edison Chen has got catchy hooks and nice sounding mainstream rap, he does justice with his Cantonese flow...Mc Yan is an interesting dude, he speaks good english but raps in Cantonese, he seems to do a lot of Collabos, he did a great track with Edison Chen and Hanjin, in the video they pose as beggers and theres this dope chick who sings the hook.... Young Kin is on some freedom of speech trip, somewhat anti the system ..."Beijing to New York" is worth listening to
