Q: Anyone know anything about fake Coca-Cola?
Someone told me that some Coke you can buy in China is fake, and you can tell by the can (fake coke is matte red, i.e. not as shiny). It's definitely true that some cans are matte and some are shiny, but I used to think that was just Coca-Cola using two different styles. Anyone know for sure?
You can certainly buy fake coke in China as well as just about fake everything else (I have even seen fake condoms).
But is there a way to tell by looking at the can? I suppose if it is a really cheap fake you might be able to tell, but more often than not, you will not be able to tell by looking at the product.
I know, for example, that fake beer makers will often use original empty bottles they buy from clubs, restaurants, etc. The only thing you can do is just go on about your daily routine and hope that what you eat/breath/drink/say will not get you killed.
