Q: Are "phablets" more popular in China than in the West?

I've seen a lot of those giant phone/tablets phablets (like the note 2) in China in the last year or so. I don't hear nearly as much about this from friends back home. Are they more popular here (China,Asia)? Do you have one?

Recently I was convinced to buy phablet instead of a phone. They look more modern and easy to carry. My target buy is Lenovo K860i.
