Q: Are Trumps tweets a money spinner?

The other day a tweet about Boeing saw stocks dive ...then pick up at the end of the day.
today after a tweet Lochead stocks crashed but then got back on top.
Now if a smart person bought the cheap stock in the morning ....how much could he make by the afternoon?
Who's buying the cheap stock?
especially if he new what stock he was going to buy

Phill... at last we agree.

It is a money spinner.

Trumps tweets have put the two Chinas on a war footing. I wondered why?.

I woke up this morning to see a report about the SCS. The report was issued by an American think tank. A non-partisan think tank. I wonder. Where do they get their money to pay for their 220 staff. And how can they pay for their photos from space?

I found the company they pay for their space photos. It's all legit.

But where do they get their money?

Goes back to a think tank called CSIS.

"Center for Strategic and International Studies"

Check out who their sponsors are:

https://www.csis.org/support-csis/our-donors/corporation-and-trade-assoc...

Oh.

Left wing, right wing... whatever. I don't care

I don't care about the South China Sea. I don't care if China has guns there to fight over the last half dozen fish.

But what I do care about is news networks not telling the truth. These photos of the "Chinese Guns" were everywhere on western news today.

I can't see guns in the photos. There most likely are guns there. But follow the source of the news, as I did. Treat every news article with the same suspicion as a CFTU post.

So yup.

Trump tweets about Taiwan and the SCS. He appoints the CEO of Exxon to be the man. Two days later photos "emerge" of guns in the SCS. Photos from a think tank.

A think tank that exxon pays for.

You are spot on Phill.

No, they aren't  ....

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-12-16/trump-doubles-down-are-we-talki...

With Obama doubling down late Thursday on accusations of a Putin-orchestrated Russian hack, and going as far as vowing retaliation against the Russia for "its meddling in the US presidential election", telling NPR that "there is no doubt that when any foreign government tries to impact the integrity of our elections that we need to take action and we will at a time and place of our own choosing," moments ago Donald Trump likewise retaliated on his favorite medium, Twitter, when shortly after 6am, Trump suggested that the so-called "Russian hack" disclosed information that was in the public's interest, once again bringing up the age-old question: if the information is critical and serves the public, does it matter where it came from?

Specifically, Trump asked on Twitter if “the same cyberattack” U.S. intelligence agencies believe struck the Democratic National Committee and other groups was the one that revealed the DNC had been handicapping the presidential primary in favor of eventual nominee Hillary Clinton.

Are we talking about the same cyberattack where it was revealed that head of the DNC illegally gave Hillary the questions to the debate?

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 16, 2016

Meanwhile, as it escalated its allegations about a Kremlin-directed hack, the White House on Thursday claimed that Trump knew about Russian hacking of the campaign well before Election Day, and a spokesman for the Obama administration called on the president-elect to cooperate with a congressional probe into the matter.

Keep an eye on Obama's impromptu 2: 15pm press conference this afternoon, on the off chance the outgoing president decides to launch cyberwar shortly before leaving for his Hawaiian golf outing.

ambivalentmace:

obama launch an attack, laughing my fao, you mean like the 300 million dollar software for obama care that did not work.

i doubt obama could write code using "BASIC",  and the democratic party was full of silicon valley liberals from facebook, google, etc and they got hacked and screwed and the republican party of old behind times, non hip, non progressive has beens did not get hacked, and the left had the technology nerds lookiing out for them, this is an absolute embarrassment and i cant believe they are putting the dirty laundry out in public to show just how incompetent they really are.

If i was running a high tech company, i would be on vacation right now and not show my face with the democratic party. These are the people that say they know what is best for us and they can't protect their own people and data and all of us "deplorables" are supposed to trust them to protect our privacy and computers at home. I wonder if the Trump companies let governments hack their computers and if all these computer nerd wizards of the left could not hack and find anything on Trump, then they are all worthless.

this is just sore losers trying to make the trump election not legitimate because they have no other strategy. they are finished and they cant look in the mirror.

It was pretty damn funny to recount Wisconsin and find another 133 votes for Trump.

Putin Lashes Out At Obama: "Show Some Proof Or Shut Up"

Putin has had enough of the relentless barrage of US accusations that he, personally, "hacked the US presidential election" and on Friday his spokesman told reporters in Tokyo that "you need to either stop talking about it, or finally show some kind of proof. Otherwise it just looks very indecent."

icnif77:

The CIA Is Accusing Russia Of Doing Exactly What The CIA Does

There’s a grim irony to this. The CIA is accusing Russia of interfering in our free and fair elections to install a right-wing candidate it deemed more favorable to its interests. Yet during the Cold War, that’s exactly what the CIA did to the rest of the world. Most Americans probably don’t know that history. But in much of the world it’s a crucial part of how Washington is viewed even today.

Trump to Continue "Freaking Mainstream Media Out", Will "Boldly Use" Twitter For Policy Announcements

Making news and issuing statements on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram will “absolutely” continue, incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer told ABC’s “This Week” saying that Trump will "boldly use" Twitter to make major policy announcements and adding that "with all due respect, I think it freaks the mainstream media out."
