Q: Are you concerned with showering in pollutted water?

A lot of pollutants can be absorbed through the largest organ in your body ( your skin). Knowing the state of Chinese water, what steps do you take to stay safe? Are there any effective shower filters available?

Nope, couldn't give a toss, my body's been battered with so many un-natural chemicals since I hit 11 that standing here now in my 45th year i'm pretty much gonna be damned if I care what i'm showering in.

I would be interested in hearing about some filters and such as well, but I guess breathing in the pollutants in their air 24/7 is just a bad, so either way we're screwed.

i think simply living in china is detrimental to one's health in many ways... you adding showering to my list has only made me that much more aware of my own mortality.. especially in china... i'm scared... someone hold me...

It's only crossed my mind a couple of times. Air, food and drinking water is bigger concerns.

Any contact with China's filthy water concerns me.  I have installed a 70 gallon water tank on my balcony to hold Reverse Osmosis purified water for my washing machine and bathtub!  Yes, I take baths in R.O. water.   I hate the icky feeling of China's water on my skin.  If I lived in Beijing or Shanghai, I think I would die.

Nessi. Rest assured, you will die. If you fail to do so, something is wrong.
