Lol. Spoken like a true gentleman. Before I came here, I was led to believe that all Chinese women were genteel and demure. Whoever wrote that obviously never met one!

They are, more often than not, beautiful, fiery, and, as you said, "hard as nails!" But that in itself is alluring.

I AM GLAD TOO !.  Show them respect and love as wives or GF's, try hard to understand them, and they in turn will make you an extremely happy man.  But without a doubt, they do know what they want, and if you betray them, they will show you a very strong will and character, traits that sometimes are even harder than nails.

I love my wife, but she's a bit too controlling. I work nights and I don't think it's too much to ask that, considering we're home together all day, it shouldn't be an issue if I want to spend my Saturday and Friday nights at the pub having a few laughs. Everytime I leave the house I get a guilt trip about this. 

And, if she wanted to come, that's cool. But, she doesn't ever want to. She wants to sit in her room on the computer and wants me to sit in the other room doing whatever. It's become a serious block in our relationship.

I am glad I have had the experience of having Chinese gf.  Now I know that most are narcisistic, cold, controlling and boring most of the time.
Filipina women are much more fun and caring.  Yes Chinese women are more beautiful, but I need a break from them for a while.
I hope one day to find the exception...one day.

i am a little different i dont like being bossed around, and the idea that "it is love' drives me nuts. i am a fully grown man. i dont want to control another human being and i definitely dont want to be controled by someone else. but the great thing is that you can find all types of individuals in the world. regardless of where you are.
