I have worked for 2 Chinese companies in Shanghai,2 foreign companies also.Sometimes I dont like the jobs cause I don't like the lower salary, sometimes cause I hate someone, sometimes cause I dont wanna work in that place.
After 4 jobs,I find nearly no job is perfect.I feel I want to go back to my previously india company, but too late.
How about your jobs? Are you willing to stay on your current jobs?
It sounds like you need to find a job and just deal with whatever happens. No job is perfect, but sometimes, if you're lucky, you find a job that works for you. A lot of jobs do not offer a good salary, so find one that has a decent salary for the work you have to do, and stick with it, unless you can find something better. In that case, I would suggest that you don't quit until you know you have the other job. In almost any job, you're probably going to hate someone. Deal with it. You are a grown up, right? If you don't want to work in a place, why are you there? You didn't know anything about the company before you started working?
I remember you commenting about that Indian company. You said that he was constantly watching over you? Maybe you weren't doing your job right. You couldn't talk freely to those around you? Welcome to a real office. You can't be on qq and playing games all day? Again, welcome to a real office. You have to deal with someone above you that you don't like because she has more freedoms? Um...what are you, 12? Of course your superiors can do more than you. From what you described, I don't see anything wrong with that office unless your boss is harassing everyone even if they are doing their job well. Why would you need to dress sexy at your office job? There are certain rules for how you dress and behave, and if you can't follow those rules, then don't work there.
Now that I'm done ranting, yes, there are things I didn't like about past jobs. When I was a cashier, a lot of the customers were grumpy and rude, and those that worked above me were also rude and didn't always do their jobs. When I was teaching in China, I got no guidance and was left on my own to figure out lessons and I felt like I was floundering. I would like to teach in Asia again, but not in China, for quite a few reasons. I will not go back to working at the job I had before, which is why I am looking for a new job. I'm hoping I can get an interview with the bank I applied to, that would be my best option right now. I have a lot of cashiering experience.

By the way, I just got hired to work at Petsmart. Ok, well, I do have to take a drug test, but that's obviously not going to be a problem. I think I'll like it there.

I dont like the manager who told me to give up my dress, but she dresses in a sexy way.
But finally my India boss fired me.
Almost no job is perfect,I should stick with the job which paied me decent salary until find another one better.I never kown how lucky I was until I lost the job.I had the salary which many young women want it.Too late,I want to go back, but too late.
Well,I admit I didn't work hard, may be not too lazy, but still lazy,so may be part of the reason he was watching me. Just my previously manager was too kind,he told no people can focus on job during 8 hrs, have sometimes on QQ or something for relax is fine, just dont spend too much time on it.think he is wiser than other managers I have metYes You are right that None of the job is perfect..
But the degree of satisfaction depends upon what you want from your job..
Like me.When I graduated my aim was to find a job in that company where i can learn more about my work and sharpen my professional skill..inspite of low salary..
When that phase was over..I searched a job in that company where i can get more salary..so I found job and enjoyed a high salary..
Now I am doing job in the 3rd Company in my career so far..and the main reason behind joining this company was to associate myself with a reputed brand in the Industry. And I know I am increasing my value in the Industry everyday..inspite of low level of Job satisfaction..
So I am trying to say that whether you like your job or not..until and unless you are fulfilling your aim with that job..I will advise you to go with that Job..Not a single company is perfect..just fulfill your aim and move on..
I don't have a job, therefore I am happy. Work sucks, getting up in the morning and rushing to a job sucks. Often I thought I'd rather slit my own throat than go to work, but after holding the electric razor against my neck for a few minutes, I gave up and ended up going to work, defeated.

I am sick with getting up early and rush to work. Most chinese companies I was working for require me to work overtime,I dont like that.
r e a d i n g t h a t k i n d o f w r i t i n g makes me a little sick
but my work is absolutely OK.
I only had one job, that I wasn't feel good in it.
3 months with crazy (and I MEAN crazy) boss in my homeland.
I never worked strictly for Chinese company, even doing my duties in China.

I wont work seriously for any companies I dont like .Maybe will work seriously after I get married.or well, may be just open my own shop.
Well this is my second career. My first one lasted 32 years.
In this career my first job lasted a year and the Sts and staff were brilliant but the boss wasn't so good and so at the end of the contract I moved on. My current company is small and it is really good, the staff are friendly and the students are keen to learn but not too quick to complain. The pay is at the lower end of the scale but that is up to me come contract renewal to get a raise or move on, I am keeping both options open. Overall, yes I love my job, to me teaching is a vocation, I would do it for free, it I were rich enough. (Just don't tell my current boss that, it isn't a good negotiating position.)
Still dunno!!!
Teaching has been my dream since I was a little kid. My country is going through a terrible crisis, and more in particular the education system. I've been said that I might wait 10 years or more for a teaching position in high school. Since I don't like staying home and warming the chair, I tried several other options suitable for my university degrees but none satisfied me enough. Reason why I came to China to teach English. Being a non-native speaker I had limited options.
In China I taught in a college first, almost finished teaching in a training school and about to start in a top high school. Chinese teaching environments vary significantly. Next year, I will take some life decisions, I guess. I wanted to experience all the different realities: college teaching (low salary, few teaching hours, plenty of free time), language mill (40 hours a week, 5 one-hour-long teaching classes per day, relatively high salary, no free time and high levels of stress) and a serious high school (40 hours a week but more flexible and regular, 3 to 4 45-minute-long classes a day, high salary, plenty of holidays).
I love teaching and am very passionate about it but my current job in the training center is making me doubt about it. Perhaps it's just this crappy place and working conditions.
MissA:
The majority of Chinese training centres blow goats. Stick with education but find a better job
