Q: Are you a slowpoke?
Is that true I have heard that most Westerners are slowpoke? I know my husband is,and most of my western friends too.
Not unless I've got nowhere to go in which case I'm usually at home on the laptop. If I've got somewhere I want to get to I usually try and get there at a brisk pace, even if I'm on holiday.
When I am walking in my relaxed pace, I race past the locals. When things are to be done, they better be done as fast as possible without compromising safety while doing them. (certain activities excepted)
Really? I fly past everyone in the malls without effort.

I would like to state categorically, with no equivocation, that I am not a slowpoke; unless it is a good thing, because then I am, unless it is better to be a slowpoke then fastpoke which is what I am then. Anyway, perhaps best to ask my gf, or if she isn't around u can ask Miku, my Japanese Love Doll.
This has got to be a joke. I can't count the number of times I have tried to walk through a crowd of chinese people shoulder to shoulder blocking a whole walkway just casually staring at the sky or stopping all together to play with their phones.

i like to start off slow to get things nicely lubricated and to comfortably stretch her out. then mix it up fast and slow depending on the tempo. when you are on a 6 hour journey it is best not to drive 100mph you'll burn up all your gas 5 mins in..
I'm either a slowpoke or just that damn lazy!! Hell it takes me at least 15 minutes just to get out of bed.

Such an annoying and asinine question. Actually, like others I find many Chinese quite slow who just get in the way. Oftentimes, they are oblivious to those around them.

A wise man once told me that there are only 2 things in life you should do slow. One is eating and the other one you can figure out. (He was my boss).
But really...I find Chinese people in general to be the slowest people on the planet. It's painful walking with my GF as she is slower than most and I am a very fast walker.
I zig zag through crowds when I am alone walking.
