I have been teaching awhile now but I have not figured out what it means when the advertisement says "... Level "C" teacher required" What are these "Levels" and what do they refer to?

I don't think you understand the question. This site is good if you aren't teaching in China.
A-levels are advanced subject courses based on the British high school system. I imagine B and C levels are lower.
ScotsAlan:
Nope.
"A" level means "advanced"
