Q: Been looking for the most useful Wechat Smartwatch?
You like or need to use Wechat during working hours and you need a sneaky Smartwatch to do it with or you want a smartwatch just because. Well you're in China so that means don't spend Y2350 on an Samsung watch, none of them are designed for Wechat features. Here is my list of best watches to buy if you need to be sneaky at work or simply don't want to hold or unlock your phone just to see a quick reply:
Best #1: HuaWei watch: Y2300, its designed in China for Chinese, so it has the best platform for wechat & its beautiful.
Next #2: Apply iWatch also has great wechat features and probably better next year..
Next #3: Moto360, if you got a thick wrist or big wrist this is for you, it has all the wechat features you'll need.
Next #4: LG Urbane for guys with skinny wrist, does all that the Moto360 does but has a smaller screen.
#5:_________? (I'll leave that you any of you guys who bought and used wechat on a watch, let us know.)
Couldn't help but pass this on to the wechat guys out there. Took awhile to try them all before I bought one. Now my boss thinks I'm only checking the time. lol

Did you write it yourself or was it just delivered as is by whoever hired you?
Not sure which is stupidest, the concept itself or the way you try to sell it (waste time more efficiently at work, yay).

It's more of a solution I'm trying to sell lol, it's for the tech people here & guys who work PT jobs who need quick updates who can't pull out their cell phone out at work. You see, these watches have a trick, at least some, lets say you left your cell at home and its connected to your home wifi, and your watch is connected to your work wifi, you will still get & be able to reply to all your messages. Now even you can't argue that is a pretty cool feature. Anyway wechat is a key app we use in China for friends, lovers, jobs or whatever. So a watch helps in some cases and some not. For RiriRiri I think the heart rate feature would suit you well.

love the idea of smartwatches but they are still impractical. Fingers are too big for the screen to reply a message and talking to your watch looks stupid

I know it's not for everyone, like I told the Riri guy, it's for a need, not want, a lot of companies don't allow cell phone use at work, so its a small solution if you use wechat for Part time jobs that need a quick reply yes or no or to the wife.. Its saved me a lot of hassle at work.

haha actually the type of smartwatch I'm waiting for is a Starwars projector type smartwatch, now that would be cool.

Thank you admin, I'm simply trying share hands on smartwatch use with regards to wechat use only, I didn't want anyone to get stuck buying a Samsung watch in China for Y2000 that can't install the actually wechat app.
To be honest, wechat watch... interesting.
Is the watch in English or Chinese?
Can I keep my phone in my pocket and have a gps map on my watch? That would be cool. If these are android devices, do I need a VPN for google maps.

The English and Chinese question is right on the money.. Because these smartwatches we buy in China don't have an English option even though its Android, So we'd have to buy it in HK unless the store can give you a watch with preinstalled English software. Yes it has a mapping system and you can also download baidu maps which is best in China even if we don't read Chinese its just a copy and paste or push away to find a location. Yeah, you can keep your phone in your pocket or on your desk and be about 40-50 feet away and still works, but if you got the Moto 360 or LG Urbane than you can connect the watch to any wifi near by or in your office or Starbucks and receive all data that your phone receives even if your phone is left at home or somewhere else, meaning as long as your phone is on and it's on with 4G or Wifi than your watch will also give you all of your messages no matter where you are, just need a wifi connection and you don't need the phone with you, I love that feature. With Huawei, iWatch and Tic watch I'm not sure if they have that wifi feature. Looks like I'm going with iWatch or Huawei because wechat works best on it, but I rather get the Moto 360. If you want a budget watch go with Tic watch.
