Q: Bird flu, dead animals in rivers, Airpocalypse or North Korea...

...which one is the most imminent threat?

 

I ask this question with equal parts sarcasm and terror. Seriously, doesn't it seem like awful thing after awful thing has been happening around here recently?

 

I generally try to keep a somewhat positive outlook on living in China, but damn...

air pollution is the 4th killer in China after cardiovascular disease, smoking and food problems. North Korea is not very likely to shoot anything in the direction of China, the bird flu has this time around only caused a few deaths, the dead animals is probably the bigger problem here as it ends in the food chain. There is thousands of pigs that are dead from disease that get sold as raw meat rather than getting a halfway decent goddbye to the world by being set afloat in a river.
