Sign up with Google Sign up with FacebookQ: Can Chinese Master degree holders find jobs in western countries?
They prefer you stay here so they can pay you less. If you had a Masters, or even a first aide certificate, you would understand this.
Next stupid question....
icnif77:
She's looking for the info on West, because she plans to 'advise' (for fee of course) Chinese 'how to go abroad....'.
That's why so many 'how Qs' on different Western countries.
Are you really telling us you have a genuine masters degree, if so in what subject. By genuine I mean one you did not print yourself after downloading a picture of it. The more we read your latest questions about America and New Zealand the more you show us you know nothing of the outside world and have not even done your homework.
Sure!! Easy (if you speak ok English... although, the way the US is these days, that may not actually be a requirement...)
But McDonalds, KFC and Burger King are always hiring, and you're Chinese Master's degree will fit right in!!!

Don't listen to them Vicky. A qualified worker from China is highly sort after in the west.
The best thing is that it is completely ok to arrive from China with a tourist visa and work legally. You probably won't even have to pay tax. American business is hungry for hard working Chinese people, especially those with trading company experience. Go for it!
Shining_brow:
I think it's funny you got more thumbs-down for it than us :p

Vickys sock puppets at work with the down votes.
Good answer iWolf. It got me thinking. Why go the the trouble of getting a US visa. Why not just get a Mexican visa, then pay a Mexican tour guide to take her across the border to Wall street, where she will instantly be employed as the CEO of a major bank.
iWolf:
Yes guys, I am privileged to be the consistent brunt of a down-voting cabal on each and every answer. I must be doing something right..
I am unsure whether these morons don't recognize satire and sarcasm or are running a sock puppet campaign.
Either way I am delighted that they are making the effort and that I have touched the minds of a few ignorant and pathetic xiangbalaor in some small way.
iWolf:
Come on .....8 down votes. I think we can make double digits by morning. Farmers Unite!
You don't have a Masters degree, so it doesn't matter.
A Chinese masters degree is about the same as an intermediate certificate in NZ. To graduate from intermediate in NZ you need to maintain a body temperature roughly in the high thirties. When I was in intermediate school I caught giardia on a field trip and my body temperature dropped to the high mid-thirties and my weight fell to the mid forties.
I still passed, and I'm here in China because of that. If it wasn't for the giardia I'd be a diplomat strongly advising the prime minister that he ought to only meet with the heads of state who were democratically elected by their people...
Ergo those middle school qualifications must be pretty important huh..?
c&p from another thread:
Admin cleared several spamming Qs an hour ago. I hope, he used 'ban' button too!
OP isn't asking genuine Qs, because she wants to visit NY or similar.
She wants to sell 'knowledge' she'll gather here to other Chinese who want to emigrate to the West, by advising and managing 'how-to-go-West' office.
Miserable, repugnant, pretentious, 'made-up' Qs!
No advice on West should be given to OP.
Hotwater:
I'm happy that Admin cleared the spamming answers. No I just wish he'd clear the very old questions!
Hotwater:
And I agree with you on Vickys questions. They should be deleted. I've had a non-China question deleted before so Vickys should go
icnif77:
Delete everything except Q ''How do they drive () in UK? And 'why?', too.''
I guess, not too many Shanghai-nese travel to Lon. It looks like USA and NZ are in.
My inside sources tell me that the only masters degree that is valid outside China is the Masters in Bation.
If you have to ask then the answer is probably no.
jetfire9000:
Chinese degrees are somewhat questionable - why do you think anybody of stature has obtained education from abroad? Degrees aren't useless but they are more like a mark next to your name that accentuates you and attracts attention to the fact. Whether or not they have any value depends largely on the individual and their experience they've built up that correlates to that degree. Which is why I say, "If you have to ask, then probably the answer is no." Anybody with relevant knowledge and experience would never ask if their degree was useful or not.
Seems to me that most tertiary qualifications gained in China aren't worth a cracker.

You can probably get a job on the FIFA International Panel.
I don't think it would be worth much elsewhere.
Chinese Masters degrees are probably not worth much more than an average high school degree from a Western country. So I wouldn't think it would count for much.
Yes, it may qualify you to work illegally in a Chinese owned restaurant or store.
In most of Europe, qualifications matter, nationality doesn't. If people have skills and are willing to work, by all means. Actually finding a job and adjusting can be difficult. I recall my first Chinese colleague. I met him after he'd worked in my country for several years. Yet he still had no concept of how to get by in private life. His job only takes care of 8 hours per day, so for the remainder he was sort of in the dark.
You degree wouldn't help you that much when looking for a job abroad, your skills or language do.
Masters degree !
Is there nothing Burger King cant do?
Sorry
