Generally no -- I think that there may have only been one or two non-Han members of this organization and I am not sure but I believe that one was an American who was imprisoned during the C R and eventually returned home where he died years later (I read this on his obit in the New York Times last month) and a Canadian guy who had been here from the beginning including the March, etc., etc.

Traveler:

The American was Sidney Rittenberg, an American soldier who became a communist revolutionary, and a translator for Mao, before Mao imprisoned him (twice). He is now aged 91 and living in the US.

I don't think that you can. Your country probably has its own communist party that you can.

Nope. They exist, and sometimes they even run presidential candidates. Here is their website.

This has all been so sugar-coated by the posters above.  The Communist Party of the United States has been thoroughly infiltrated by the FBI and about every other government agency.  It is a rump party and exists only attract naive persons upon whom the FBI will then spy.  Please!

Lol. Why would they even bother. As a political party they are absolutely terrible at attracting voters. And I'm pretty sure they have better things to do than spy on dorm room socialists. That said I do hope that the EPA keeps an eye on them for the simple fact that the waste, in this instance fecal waste, produced by livestock, here by male cows, is a leading producer of C02 gas, and understanding exactly much bullshit these people are producing may be an important part of avoiding planetary climate change.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
