Q: Can I just said that to her?

My cousin's wife came to visit my parents, when she saw me, her first question to me is how much money I make and when I will find a boyfriend. Made me very uncomfortable, I then said what she said wasn't polite and that she shouldn't ask me how much I make and what if I make little salary or just got fired? I told her what if someone's bf just died or maybe thats someone's privacy or maybe someone just doesn't want to get married.

I told her to be more respectable and considerable.

She kept saying and tried to convince me that she's right.

My mom got mad at me and blamed on me for being impolite to the relative.

Should I say those words to the cousin's wife? Ooops

You know those relatives are just so annoying.

Tell her to mind her own business.

But if you don't mind stirring sh*t up you could learn to fk with people's minds.

example:  when she starts asking about your bf, learn how to tell her you are really just into girls and you were wondering if she was up for a round?

It's kinda hard to explain, but as you develop the skill you will get better at it.  Just feed people lines of bullshit to shock their simple mentalities.  It can be fun sometimes.

Quite right, you should have said you would tell her after she told you how much her husband gives her, and then what ever she said you just triple the figure you give her and say how sorry you are that she has to make do with so little. I might not always agree with you but this time you are quite right.

What diver said, unfortunately (as you can attest to) 'some people' have zero upbringing and you should learn to give 'fuck off answers'. I once told a nosey taxi driver that the student traveling with me was my mother.

I love it when fluffers try to make excuses for the rudeness of mainlanders. Someone who is just inquisitive wouldn't persist after you told them it was rude. Think back to the many times taxi drivers have demanded to know the relationship between you and the female with you (I don't know if it's the same with foreign women) was it curiousity or something more sinister like to judge her and give her a lecture about being with foreign men or to interrogate her about why she didn't choose a mainlander

Ignoring the wrongs and rudeness of individuals because of their race or nationality doesn't make you an elite 'anti-racist' it makes you fucking racist against the very people you're excusing

Treat questions like that and the people who ask them with the contempt they deserve. Just laugh at such unsophisticated bumpkins (xiangbalao tubaozi).

Once I fight back to them, they will think you are rude. lol Many people who I met in Shanghai are not much diffrent, so annoying and always push to ask people's privacy. Especially if you fight back to those annoying rude colleagues, it will make your work in company harder and you may even face get fired for not get along with those low level people.

In mainland of China, people can just act like an idiot and be so rude and they always tried to drag you to their level. Only a few smart mind can see that they are foolish. Given an impression of lacking of education.

It is so rare to hear people here say apologize. If you ever say anything bad to this country, they will fight with you.

Remember the 3D designer called me not love China for spending money in the US. He acted mad and not speak to me after I criticized him, what a low class human. I swallowed the shit and speak to him, wtf. Because I know this is a Chinese company.

Most people in this country doesn't understand what is called rude.

The retaired primary school principal lives in my neighborhood asked me how much I make. After knowing that I make 10000rmb, he said that is not much money and he said he knows someone makes 600,000rmb a year. Rudeness and foolish as hell. Does he think that a lot of local Chinese can make 600,000rmb a year? And how old is that person who earns 600,000rmb a year? lol Where did he sign his contract? As the shallow principal stated, he works internationally. If someone makes 7000-8000USD Dollars a month in New York, it is about 600,000rmb a year. It is not super high salary in New York. And you don't even know if that person tells his true salary, you know Chinese love face so much and there's a possibility that someone lied about his salary.

A:If he did contact the embassy they would tell him to engage a lawyer. They at least might be able to point him towards a somewhat decent lawyer, I don't think they'd be of much help aside from that though. I doubt the lawyer would be able to do much other than help negotiate the compensation he will need to pay.   -- Stiggs
