Q: Can you be sued as a result of complying with CCP's censorship regulations? China says you can.

http://www.investopedia.com/news/chinese-app-makers-sue-apple-antitrust-case/

"The group contends Apple removed their apps without giving a detailed reason and for charging customers too much in fees for in-app purchases. The lawsuit also contends that because Apple doesn’t respond to inquiries in Chinese, it makes the local app developers less competitive. "

This is one of the things that happens when you do business in a thieves den.  One hell of a country, isn't it? I wonder who would be crying when Foxconn, Apple's Taiwanese manufacturer, leaves china.

It will be interesting if Apple do leave China.

Apple own the tooling and assembly lines. Foxconn provide the premises and the labour. I have no idea how far down the supply chain Apple ownership goes, but to be sure, the tools and lines will need an export license.

Their relationship is much more complex than customer and OEM. There are also loads of third parties who have patented manufacturing technologies. They would have to move too.

Very difficult for Apple to leave.

Trump probably goes the the classic OEM route. He wont own the sewing machines.

Easy for Trump to move. Not easy for Apple.

I live Apple products and own three of their devices, two Ipads and an Iphone. My wife owns an Iphone 6. By and large I am very satisified with the product (much more than with Samsung or Android, had a Samsung and that thing was a piece of shit), but there is dissatisfaction also.

* Foxconn is an awful factory and there has been many horror stories about workers and the conditions. People making basically slave wages and constantly working, shit like 6 to 7 days a week with 12 plus hour days doing monotonous work in less than safe conditions with I am sure very demanding management. Some workers have even committed suicide under these conditions. Typical bullshit of a company and CEOs making massive amounts of profit on the backs of the poor and desperate. But to be fair to Apple, all of these companies do this, and in the Year of Our Lord 2017, having a phone is as vital to a person as having an asshole. You may not want it, but its required.

The products are ridiculously and stupidly expensive. I have been reading that the new Iphone 8 is going to be $1,000 USD or 7000 RMB. These devices cost less than 50 RMB or $5 to make if that much. I have seen the insides (or the innards) of these things, it is just a battery, some wires and shit and not much else. Seems to me that if they would cut their prices in half, they would make more money from consumers which would be much more than the ridiculous prices now.......Chinese have this silly notion that if something is expensive it is of good quality, so a 10,000 RMB Iphone is better than a 3,000 RMB Oppo. It is stupid, but Chinese are stupid.

Lastly, the stupid applications* I cannot delete or remove. I actually have these under one folder marked "SHIT" because they are worthless to me and uses up memory. Ugh! I use the word *applications because "apps" is not a word and I refuse to use it.

A:I think the first "not smart" thing you did was to think of everyone as a subordinate. They are in fact your team members. You are also a team member and your role is to supervise, not flex your muscles. It drives you nuts when your boss does this and then you do exactly the same thing. Think about it. Adapt, change, bend the rules and be more efficient. -- iWolf
