Bull. Cooking chicken to 56C kills them after one hour (slow cooker) higher temps would kill them faster.

-All cases of bird flu result form exposure to LIVE ANIMALS.

Typically, influenza is transmitted from infected mammals through the air by coughs or sneezes, creating aerosols containing the virus, and from infected birds through their droppings

Pork. You can get pork soup by turning on the tap in Shanghai.

I eat beef, chicken & pork as always. just because there has been stories in the media doesn't mean the food safety is worse now than before those stories broke. I still consider  the pesticides used for crop farming the biggest threat to health in China.

All we can do is make sure bacteria gets killed through cooking and then hope for the best.... or leave

I eat a buttload of lamb nowdays. Lamb burgers, lamb tacos, lamb strips on ciabatta, you name it. I don't even mind, its freakin tasty.

There's also a place that imports beef from Australia so we get jerky to snack on between meals.

Scandinavian:

you mean you eat a butt load of duck meat infused with leftover sheep fat from Australian wool production?

I still eat chicken twice a day. I'd eat lamb 24/7 if it were readily available.

KFC almost every day. No change ... yet.

The first problem in china most concerns Chinese population is the quality of the food. Chinese food is really shit, it tastes good but it,s better you don,t know what they put inside, including the fruit

Scandinavian:

no it doesn't all vegetables and meats have hardly any taste, if it wasn't for Lee Kum Kee this country would be uninhabitable

I ate a small sweet loaf of egg bread (or 2) sometimes with eggs and lots of yogart, and lots of peanut butter. I always bought that loaf of bread for snacks. Most days I cooked or went out for dinner and in the late evening I ate street fried noodles and barbecue and I never was sure what some of the meat was.

I've been thinking of trying cat as I have 6 that keep me poor with Vet bills and I can't travel with them. Or I have to find a country that has good Vets that don't make more than doctors.
