Q: Is CCTV news any different than FOX news?

Think about it.

Their agenda is different, but the means and methods they use to acheive their goals are frighteningly similar.

On another note, isn't it odd that in the US, CCTV means Closed-Captioned TV and in China all CCTV is subtitled?

CCTV says what they say because the government tells them to say it. Fox says what they say because they're usually too stupid to know better.

thedude:

Just like FOX news is told by their corporate sponsors what to say and how to spin it. Different message...same intended result?

denringer:

I watch CCTV all the time now over CNN at times. CNN can be overly politically correct in their branding and hype and agendas. I stopped watching FOX a long time ago. Fox was developed as a response to left wing domination of the news in the US. CCTV was developed with Western marketing and journo expertise in order to re brand the new emerging China we see today.

Fox News, CCTV, CNN. They are all the same, all of them have their own "angle".  If you want REAL news, with honesty and integrty I suggest the (North) Korean News Agency.wink

Dude,

I would think MSM..Main Stream Media.. with their poster boy Obama, is much more like CCTV than Fox. Fox is like the pirate stations offshore or the DJ's on Mexican radio back in the day. Beaming in opinions not sanctioned by the liberal big government complex.

I will give you an example my left leaning  sonny.....CNN ran more stories on the Cain scandal in six days that it did on Obamas ties to Ayers, Rezko and Wright combined for all of their publishing history!

And how about that "gunwalker scandal"? Very little coverage in the news. Although everyone knows Chicago, corrupt politics, gun hating, Democrat, Obama likely instigated that, wanting to restrict 2nd amendment rights. Oh please ask, challenge about this, I will bury you in damning quotes on the subject from  libtards like Botox   Pelosi, Feinstien, etc.

They dont want to throw Holder under the bus because he would squeal on Obama like the little girl pig, that he is.

Its going to break, some guy in the ATF, sick to his heart about letting those guns walk under WH orders and kill fellow agents, will blow the whistle and all frickin hell will break loose. Geez it reminds me of frickin Watergate. Smile

BTW they already reassigned all those agents to the backwaters, to keep em under the radar, which just just pissed em off more and gave em time to think!

thedude:

Well, in the name of civility I will refrain from arguing with your opinions, as we all have our own, and who is to say who is right? I think MSNBC is a counter balance to FOX, but I rarely watch it myself. But I do have a degree in political science, and John Stewart, Bill Maher, and Micheal Moore are my heroes!

That's your perspective, but opinions are like noses, we all have one and they are all different. People either love him or hate him, but insinuating a loss of credibility with no explanation is pretty shallow.
