Q: Change FEC to another school and extend RP
We need to change F.E.C to work for another school and maybe will need to extend our RP.
Can anyone let us know the process?

Will you complete your Contract or resign?
If you'll complete the Contract, school must cancel FEC (online), and give you FEC Cancelation Certificate. You'll also need Release letter from the School.
You must receive both documents in 30-days after your last working day ----->Chinese law.
With both docs., your new employer will be able to get new FEC and extend your Residence permit.

These posters, they can't even write correctly. In English.
Recommendation letter isn't necessary for SAFEA (FEC) and PSB (RP).
I always had all three, but in Fujian (my last RP before Henan), I was dismissed. Our Contract stated, both parties can dismiss/quit with 30-days notice for no reason given. Had SAFEA helped me with Fujian School, and I had only Release letter and FEC Cancel Cert.
In Henan, nobody asked me for the Recommendation letter.
I didn't even start to work in Fujian, so on what basis I should get Rec. letter?
Are you changing to another school branch or or to a new company or school?
If to a new company or school than your current school needs to cancel your current FEC and give you the canceled one and a release letter and if they are nice a recommendation letter. Take all those to your new HR and they should know what to do next, if not than don't work for a school that doesn't know the work permit deal.
If moving to a new branch with your current school well than the school should handle that..
