Hi all.
I recall some years ago, someone posted a link that outlined China's plans for world (well, regional) domination, including its intent to forcibly regain Taiwan, and a number of other military actions it was intending to carry out... about every 5-10 years apart.
It was an actual government issued document.
Does anyone recall who posted it, and what the link is??

Surely the authorities wouldn't check foreign language traffic coming from G20zhou prior to the event. Would they?
Of course they would. It is their purpose for existing.
I don't remember the thread, but Yahoo-gle carry several links on the topic with 'Chinese plan to dominate Taiwan' in search.

China's plan to control the world ... The Chinese Plan To Dominate Asia And The Rest Of The World" about...
I know which one you mean, it included invading Russia right? I too can't remember who posted it but I remember that I asked the person who did if it was legit. He said that it was posted on a Chinese military website and was probably ficticious. There are lots of posts like that in China which patriots love to read and stroke their... egos.
They can't even dominate Hollywood or Western Media, if you want to dominate the world you must control the media. They can't even get an Asian guy to play masculine. They just bought alot of Hollywood studio. LOL.

Still looking for the article, but here is some academic elitist dribble to help everyone fall asleep quickly.
Just googled it and found this link. I have no idea whether you are able to access it from China. I am in Europe and so I thought to send it to you. See if that ads up to your search.

I am not a Walmart fan because a large company stock does not move enough for me to put my money there, that being said, considering how much abuse Walmart gets from the left in America, this article has me in a state of shock and amazement. Perhaps I may have to eat some crow and buy some stock in the company. Not on topic but the idea that Walmart and the CCP are working together for a greater good is a miracle.
expatlife26:
i always have mixed feelings about companies like wal-mart because while they suck they also reflect the trends of the market. Like everybody wistfully talks about the old days of main street mom and pop stores...but the reason those stores went away is that customers preferred to shop at places like wal-mart when given the opportunity.
So it gets a ton of hate...but then if people didn't basically like the concept of a cheap, kinda shitty store that has everything even though it's staffed by uncompetitive, unmotivated, lowly paid people MORE than the old corner hardware store run by Mr. Johnson who can tell you the right tool for any job.
So I think a lot of the hate should be directed inward. People hate themselves for collectively choosing something cheap and crappy and soulless over something that seems a higher quality, more wholesome option.

I remembered it was called the 50 year plan and then the search was easy.

Thanks RiC! That's the one!!!
Interesting to note, the original was written in 2013. The Daioyu/Senkaku islands thing has been happening, and is likely to escalate. The Spratly's and other SCS areas are likely to escalate (but since China has already started there, we can say they're well ahead of plan). There are movements along the border with India. Taiwan is going to be pressured soon to rejoin... or else!
The only ones that hasn't had any movement towards (that I'm aware of) is Mongolia... and the Russian islands (although, with Korea (both North and South) in the way, not surprising).
Lord_hanson:
This article is too optimistic with no plans for if China faces actual opposition. Most likely a coalition against China would form regardless of who they invade
retiredinchina:
I expect the middle class trap of Brazil, and the demographics of Japan are two future events that will slow down the revenue for such endeavors, never mind the will and strength of the people involved. China has the same problem with Taiwan, what advantage does a college graduate in Taiwan have by wanting to be a part of China. The payoffs to get friends against Taiwan and not to trade with them will dry up when they have to spend it on the unemployed and elderly, and maintaining the future military budgets at the same time. Their trying to do to much too fast and its going to crash all around them, but people in power always think they are the chosen ones and this time it will be different.

the original chinese article not translated
Are we talking about the same China that tuck tailed and ran when the Vietnamese went berserk over the illegal oil rig being in Vietnamese waters and started killing Chinese managers working in the Chinese operated sweat shops throughout Vietnam? This is the same China that is supposed to "dominate the world". Let me leave this thread laughing in disbelief.

i seem to remember 40 to 80 Chinese were murdered in Vietnam by Vietnamese.

@phil. Im a bit confused by your comment, as Im trying to find its relevance to mine. Yes, North Vietnamese repelled the "American influence and aggression". And, yes the Vietnamese have had a histroy of being messed with, only to rise up and whoop whomever decides to set foot on their soil, be it French, Chinese, or Americans (within the past century I think).
philbravery:
China has never won a war in the last 100 years The closest they got was a draw in Korea . You cant count ww2 as they had already lost in the 1920s
silverbutton1:
in addition, it was the govt of taiwan that actually repelled the Japs during WW2 on the mainland...not the current regime...
Will it be a real thing?
Shining_brow:
We already know some of them to be true... SCS rubbish, the invasion of Taiwan, and there is an arms build-up on the Indian border...
earthizen:
Small fire here and there already. China's real motto is The Sword is Mightier than the Pen. Thumbs up to those in Argentina and Indonesia who figured this out and took the right action, the kind of action China understands.
