I remember back to middle school and high school, I wasn't a sociable teenager. But I know I was smart in someway but the teachers didn't see it obvioudly.
Once my Dad criticized my English teacher for something, the teacher started to ignore me in the class. I'm not a sociable kid and always alone. No teacher ever came to communicate with me. The classmate would call me bad nickname and hurted my ego. Obviously I got bullied at school. The teachers didn't come to me.
The teachers would beat me or make me stand outside for not able to pass the subject, I felt humilated.
I know if the teachers could try to help me more, I could be getting good grades and even could end up in top university because I was actually a smart kid.
I didn't tell my parents that classmate didn't want to hang out with me because it hurt my dignity. My parents didn't know what the teachers just did to me and they couldn't understand education either.
My Dad and big sister called me a fool because my math was really bad.
I showed great interest on literature, art and history and have a great understanding on those subjects.
I don't know if you actually can choose your kid's teacher in a public school.

Actually you maybe able to, my good friend is a teacher , a damn good teacher and smart parents give gifts to the head teacher to get their kids in her class. The spoiled brats ask out because she's not your typical Chinese teacher. She'll tell a parent about their kid with no concern for face.

Not the first time I've heard stories like yours in China, teachers abusing students is very common in China and there's no outlet.
I hope your post isn't deleted

Every foreigner who hates living here has 'heard stories like yours in China, teachers abusing students is very common in China and there's no outlet.'

Have you made friends with Chinese people? Do you have a Chinese wife? Are you a teacher? I noticed you said absolutely nothing to refute facts!
and what is your question?
Viki87:
I am not asking on question, just sharing to get people to discuss about it.
The cycle of abuse from someone who prefers to take their frustrations out on kids than actually deal with grown-ups.
I have seen rather a lot of that in schools here, sadly.
