I don't believe a word I head in the media here relating to HIV. Not so long ago it was just all pinned on the homosexual portion of the population.
Is it really not that big of a deal here? Why is there no mention of this in China?

I asked my Chinese girlfriend friend's boyfriend, the kinky one who would cook for her girlfriend naked with only an apron, and he said there are about 740,000 people living with HIV in China. He said number are reliable because it's a public info so it's official. But it's not very important, because normal people don't get AIDS.
It affects a lot of the homosexual community apparently, and a lot of them die, he said about 29,000 per year. He said AIDS comes from Africa, and there are few Africans here, and Chinese women prefer Chinese, so it's harder to propagate.
I remember seeing a report on the news where Hong Kong prostitutes were being interviewed. I distinctly remember some of them looking dead on at the camera and saying:
'No no, I'm perfectly safe, I had the shot taken against HIV'
That was in Hong Kong! You also hear all these stories coming from the mainland where people think they can contract AIDs just by kissing one another. Sex ed is a big problem in this country.
HIV shot.... I knew I forgot to do something.
But I at least update my cooties shot
"normal' people can get AIDS! In fact, around the world, more straight than gay people are infected
Every one is at risk of HIV, we just have to take care of ourselves!
