Q: Creeper or just curious?

I was on the train with a Chinese friend today. When we got on the train, there was some guy standing around between cars, and I didn't think much of it. But soon after the train started moving, he sat down across from me where there was an open spot. He wasn't looking at me the whole time, but he did look at me, and he looked to see what book I was reading and what my friend was reading and he kept smiling. I ignored him the best I could by reading. After a while he got up and walked around for a bit, then went somewhere else for the remainder of the trip. My friend agreed that the guy was strange, and I think the young guy diagonal from me also felt weird about it, though he didn't say anything. I assume the guy did this because I am foreign, but I was getting creeper vibes from the experience. I don't know, what do you think? Has something like this happened to anyone else?

Something similar happened to me yesterday but it wasn't a Chinese guy it was some white guy . He seemed European . Had he been Chinese I would not have been concerned (as I do not have the slightest fear of Chinese men) but I was super weirded out by this guy . What's worse is it took me so long to notice him following me ; there's so many people everywhere it was hard to notice ugh *shudders*

Njord:

No need to feel uncomfortable (or fearful) about a white guy following you... Maybe his gaydar was off a bit... or he was just looking for a new friend and thought maybe you may need one too...Just out of curiosity how do you differentiate between a white European and say a white American or White Canadian or south African? I ask because I seldom look at a Black and think "African"... Anyway at last he didn't mug you or rape you...

European men tend to have an extremely haughty air about them , wear pants that look like/are capris , carry man purses , and stare very intensely at everything .

Before you judge someone walk a mile in their shoes, that way you're a mile away and you have their shoes!

hehe that is nothing actually, try going to a smaller city where the idiots would stop their bikes , get off their bikes walk right up to you (2 inches away) and just stare for 7 minutes!!!!!!!!!!! some even change angles and zoom in and out. i actually had a kid taste me, that's right a pucking little snot nose little girl took her filthy finger from her mouth put it on my arm then put it back in her mouth and sucked on it for 2 seconds then talked to her mom "he doen't taste like chocolate??? mama youj sad they were made of chocolate.." (that's what i assumed she said)

Damn dude! That's mental...

It's funny that the girl tasted you and said you didnt taste like chocolate. That made me chuckle. When they stare at you, stare back. Eye contact him/her. If he moves his eyes, position yourself so that he is forced to look at you. Make it a game. OR start acting like a schizo or psychopath. OR put something in your mouth, chew it up, and show it to them. Just make sure you move fast enough when they try to stick their finger in your mouth. OR start talking to them in jibberish.... or pig latin. OR poke them in the tummy like the pillsbury doughboy. Flash em your man boobs!!! Do any combination of the above. I'm gonna get in so much trouble in China.

The strangers staring is one thing. What gets me is when coworkers get brave enough around me that they want to pet my arm hair. One line worker actually grabbed my arm and rubbed his face against it.

I would freak if a guy did that to me....but the girls do it all the time.

Yesterday I was walking with my dog and one guy was walking towards me. He was quite far away but as he raised his head and saw me he stopped, frozen in time, staring. It took me two minutes (seemed like hours) to reach and pass him and as I passed he turned and kept his eyes on me at all times. I was 'wierded out' and very uncomfortable. I felt like hitting him or at least telling him to phuck off and if I had been at home that is what I would have done.

I made a dummy from old clothes and plastic bags to train my husky to bite on command. Next time I see him I will frighten the life out of him or anyone else that annoys me. They will run for miles when my dog foams at the mouth.

You all need to try my solution.
When someone is staring at you shamelessly, stick your finger up your nose (middle one works best), as you stare back....looking in their eyes. It works for me and they always turn away!!
