In the past I had three of the best jobs (if not the highest paying) in the world. Wouldn't mind doing any of them again.

1. Lifty at Ski Resort (paid to ski, snowboard, lol)

2. Commercial Diver (Lead diver, Field boss for small diving/engineering outfit in So. Texas)

3. Lead Bartender (resorts in Alaska, Catering outfits in Houston) ($500 cash on a really big night , and oops, forgot to mention it to the IRS) eat free/drink free

I was a lifty at Whistler for 3 years from 19-22.  Best   time   ever!!

Already had my "dream" job so to speak, it was back in my home country.  All the time I think about what I gave up to move to China :(.   Hopefully someday when I go back I can still get a job in that liine of work.

Since my career change in 2010, teaching has always been the job I wanted.

I ended my previous career partially because I wasn't happy with the way teaching / instruction was being taught, I obtained my teaching qualifications and decided to take the plunge into what I (still) view as a vocation.

China was just convenient as my wife's Chinese and her parents are still alive.

Dream job, would be principal of my own school, so long as I was still able to teach of course.

LAR, Why can't you just be nice? I have read a lot of your comments, It seems you don't like China and Chinese people at all. You keep saying how the country and people are awful. What the hell, why stay here? If the country and people are like you said it's so awful,No point to stay here anymore.you should just go home.

Imagine foreigners in your country asking for rude locals to be deported.

Thanks.

I've been told that Lar (or the anti-Crea as I call him) had bad experiences when he came to China. Poor thing. So now he hates all of China. Hmm.

Yes,I bet he has had some bad experiences in China,But you can not judge all Chinese people or the whole country because you had some bad experiences in China or met some bad people here. It's so lame.

I WOULD NEVER JUDGE EVERYONE IN  A COUNTRY because I had some bad experiences there.

If people like LAR have bad experiences anywhere, it could be because of his horrid attitude, I say suck eggs.
