Q: "You put them up I can tear them down". Who taught mainlanders democracy, Bin Laden?

https://johnib.wordpress.com/2017/09/08/chinese-university-of-hong-kong-hongkongers-and-mainlanders-disagree-on-independence-human-ruman-and-democracy/ Head on clashes in Chinese University of Hong Kong, well known for its tolerance of opinions, right under the democratic wall, where Hong Kong Independence messages and slogans are posted by, apparently, HKers

Sept 6-7, 2017. Two videos (need vpn to watch in ). First one - they quarrel in English so you can hear pretty much everything they said. HKers, speaking cantonese, are so sick of dalurens they refuse to speak putonghua anymore, even if they can.

1.  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YOP1ZbHDOrA  You probably can spot it right away, the loud sounding, high pitch one is the mainland  student  (American accent?).  She tore off other posters'  messages without permission,  saying,  'if you can put it up,  I can tear it off'.  The soft spoken girl is a HKer she said,  'it is a democratic wall,  you cannot tear down other people's messages,  if you are against other  people's opinion you can post yours'.

2.   https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2tWfMtIqT0A  Heated clash.  Ex chairman of CU's student union,  Mr.  Chow lost his temper with dalurens;as they try to tear down pro-democracy messages,  yelling,  "are you blind,  can't you read these (instructions on the democratic wall)?

According to other articles,  dalu students hurl 'your university belong to china',  he hurls back,  'you mf'ers,  get out of HK,  go back to china'.

haha,, people are funny indecision I've asked countless numbers why they are so intent on getting Taiwan back.  All I get is variations on 'because'....  I'm like,,, well, because why?  then I get well, umm, you know, umm, because, it belongs to China.  I say it seems those there like to have their own thing going (like an independent country), so why are you so intent on denying them that and taking it from them?  ummmm,,, well,,, because,,,, because why?  ummmm,,, it belongs to China.

All I can figure is it's some sort of primordial drive to take, take, take,  reason?  who the fk knows?  just take.   I understand the smart ones start talking about physical wealth, resources,,,, but it seems the Average Joe just says 'take it',,, who the fk knows why?

seems what's happening in HK too,,,,  or maybe it's that old envy thing?  I'm not doing great, so I want others to fail and suffer too.   haha,,, hell of a motivating factor.

A:  It depends on which part of the lake region you want to visit. Most start from NanChang, the shortest distance to the lake is about 30km  and 186km to the government run wetland park, marked by the hut shape symbol on the upper right corner of the map below

October is too early to see the migratory Siberian cranes. November onwards is better, their number peaking in between December and January. The dry season lasts from Sept to April.

Here are some photos taken by a retired local during his self-drive tour of Poyang Lake, dating Oct. 17, 2016. Those birds in the photos are reared by the locals, most likely for tourists' benefits. https://www.mafengwo.cn/i/7787641.html Maps and photos from a local who did a one day tour of the area, in December 2016. http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/6487139.html?static_url=true -- earthizen
