Q: Different ways of funding your Skype from here in China.

A new user recently mentioned problems in buying credit for his or her Skype account here in China.  There are many ways to do this and I thought perhaps the Board users might share some of their insight.

Wow, really?

No matter what version of Skype you are using, go here:

http://skype.tom.com/products/en/skypeout.html

Select your method from the "Pay via a Chinese local payment option"

Input your Skype ID.

Money on your account.

You can't pay via RMB to the normal version of Skype, you have to pay via TOM, but it is an official site related to Skype, so it does work.

You can keep using your "foreign" version of Skype as well, it just charges your account.

Easy as pie.
