I heard that the pay was great but that you have to work very hard...it's not an easy job from what' I've heard. You also have to have a working permit to work there.

Hulk,       Whats the LOIC??  or are you just ripping the piss?

Yeah i read that you have to work hard for your money which is kinda ok. I'm in South Korea just now and looking to make a move here. I've been offered these types of jobs but Disney's looks the best. I did a bit of online hunting and saw some horror reviews so i'm becoming a little skeptical.

Hulk:

Thanks for providing more information for me to help you with...

Although you get paid a lot more in South Korea, I'm sure it's more expensive and you work longer hours. I'd honestly stay away from China. Chinese will cheat you any chance they get.

If you are indeed a professional looking to make money, I'd suggest looking into teaching in the United Arab Emirates. Just make sure you're a white American (or right up there) so they don't try to take your passport.

If you're dead-set on coming to China, then yes, I'd recommend contacting the big-name brands.

I've been here ( Korea for 5 years now) and I am dead set on China.  Maybe crazy, but i wanna see what the banter is.

I understand what you're saying about being cheated etc. The Koreans are a dab hand at that too. Well the Hagwon owners anyway. Most Koreans are lovely people. I'm a white goy from Scotlland but i have never fancied the Middle East. What would you say about the public school systems in China? I'm doing my Masters at the minute ( currently have the PgCert) so i dont think i'd qualify for an international school.  Plus i like teaching esl. Its a lot of good banter.
