Q: Do Chinese understand the concept of Santa Claus?

Santa Claus: a fat laowai who sneaks into your house to lavish you with gifts but only after judging you to be either "good" or “bad" and is above the morality of the locals. Still embraces coal technology, gives out special samples. Wtih red nose and cheeks, looks hammered all the time..

Wait until they learn that if they wear the suit and ring a bell people will give them money. There will be more Santas walking around than you can count and some will order a Satan outfit by mistake.

Christmas is about the family, and years by years about shopping more, but I think in China it means only big shopping for chinese people.
