Yes, the Chinese invented knitting with chopsticks. They weren't very successful at it as it took too long. All they had was silk to knit.
Sheep originated in Mesopotamia 11,000 years ago but it wasn't until 2000 years ago that a type was bred that could be shorn for wool. At first wool was woven. The Chinese missed out on wool knitted garments for years. Silk is not warm.
Now China has made handmade cloned transgenic sheep to increase the amount of unsaturated fat. Knit one, pearl two, chew twice, now they have knitting and eating combined.
Sometimes pandas also use them in kung fu to catch dumplings from red pandas' hands.

Did you know that the use of a chopstick as a unit of measure is illegal, not sure why?
My ex-gf would sometimes use one to put her hair up. It got in the way sometimes
I have made kites out of them . Split them and make a box kite. Also I have used them for doweling when joining wood legs etc just put glue in the whole and drive the chop stick in. Bamboo is very strong. You have to drill the right sized hole for them. Franck3
