Q: Do foreign women also get "Yellow Fever"?
A lot is said about foreign men with Yellow Fever who come to Asia just to find women. But I have met one or two foreign women who were equally obsessed about finding a Chinese boyfriend. Therefore, it's not really fair to portray Yellow Fever as something only foreign men suffer from. As a matter of interest, do an of you know foreign women with yellow fever?

im not sure about that, but if someone did travel half way across the world just to find a chinese gf, id say thats quiet desperate, i mean you can find chinese girls back at home, or maybe their is a different motive for choosing girls in china

American Born Chinese are very different from native Chinese.... very very different. ABCs are much more boring people and less interesting to me because I was also born in the USA. I love listening to my Chinese girlfriend talk on so excited for hours about Chinese medicine, Feng Shui and iching. It's the kind of thing you'll never get from an ABC.
As far as trying to get a Chinese girlfriend in the USA that was born in China.. It's very very hard.. They're almost already all married or getting married to Chinese men in the USA.
OR they're here only for a year or two for study and then going back to China. That's not exactly what I would consider *ideal* for somebody looking for a long-term relationship so I didn't even bother with that. Such a waste of time.
So I really can't agree with that "desperate" statement. Being in China is really the best way to be in a long-term relationship with somebody who is really Chinese.

I met a foreigner once who made it no secret that the reason why he was in China was he liked asian girls. He said in America he always had asian girlfriends. In the military he learned to speak Chinese and after the military he decide to move to an asian country and China seemed like the best fit.
I wouldn't consider that guy desperate, it's not like he never had girlfriends or girls in America. He just really really really had an attraction to asian girls for whatever reason. For someone like him, what better place to go than a country with 1billion+ people and the population is 99% Chinese.
Sure you can say the guys a bit of a creep (and he was actually) but he seemed happy and seemed to really be enjoying life. Personally I don't think that's desperate.
Hmm. Although I don't totally condone the use of the term "yellow fever" (which I believe is usually just the acceptance of Asian partners, perceived as abnormal by people that don't accept Asian partners for whatever reason), I think the answer to your question is yes, foreign women get "yellow fever" too. It's just not as common, again for whatever reason.
I've also noticed foreign women with the so-called fever tend to be more interested in Chinese culture and language in general, and are less likely to be accused of purely sexual interest.
I've seen women who hook up with Chinese guys...but it certainly doesn't seem to be at the level that it is for guys who hook up with Chinese girls.
Personally I think the whole "yellow fever" thing is simply nothing more than the fact that guys are normally very horny. put them around nothing but asian girls and suddenly they will be attracted to asian girls....... put a guy around nothing but women over the age of 50 and I bet you'd see guys getting "old women fever" as well 
. Basically, guys seem to end up getting physically attracted to whatever they have access to....... hell i've seen plenty of prison documentaries/tv shows where guys say they aren't gay but bang other guys just because thats all there is.

Agreed. The vast, vast majority of women in China are Chinese, right? I think you'd have a social problem if you didn't date a Chinese woman and chased after, say, French women or Thai women in China. For example, if I lived in, say, Haiti, I'd in all probability date a Haitian woman. If I lived in Australia, chances are I'd be dating an Aussie girl. I wouldn't spend my time looking for a Chinese, French or Thai woman in Haiti or Oz. If I did, I think I'd need to re-assess my priorities.
I rather cringe at the term "Yellow Fever" or "Jungle Fever" or any other variant of it, as for me I find it disrespectful towards the couple.
Having said that, and in answer to your question, yes, I do know of many girls in the US who find Asian men attractive. They like the slim build, the eyes, etc.
Yes but......the western women in China are far far pickier than western dudes.
There is a big difference between a second or third generation Chinese man from the west and a born and raised Chinese man (I will not generalize but ya'll know what I mean...and it's not what you are thinking).
I don't dispute it happens but think about the percentage compared to men here.
I think there are plenty of girls all over the world attracted to Asian guys. However, there are more obstacles to dating one. Women are less likely to move to Asia, even for teaching, than men. Asian guys are less likely to ask a non-Asian girl on a date, and I think a lot of girls expect a guy to make the first move. Add in the fact that outside of large cities, Asian populations are rather low in many Western countries. I think the main reason that you don't see many non-Asian women with Asian men is that there are less opportunities. Besides, in China specifically, there are also cultural reasons, combined with the fact that parents want their children to date Chinese girls, that tend to block such a relationship. It's frustrating.

YES --- and I am one of them. It's gotten so bad, like to the point that I'm not even attracted to foreign guys anymore, all I have eyes for are Asian boys. And I'm quite open about my unbridled lust. 
Most people are totally surprised to find a foreign girl who is not just open to dating Asians but one who wants to bone only Asians. Thankfully for me, their lust is reciprocated with the same intensity. I've had more sex with more Chinese boys this year than I've ever had in my life.
