Q: Do you need to pay to use your swimming pool?

The swimming pool in our "garden" will open soon. But we need to pay to use it. This annoys me because it was used as a selling point for the apartment. Then it turns out it was just a money maker for the garden management company.

Do you need to pay to use your pool?

wouldn't sweat over it too much.

someone is bound to let a child take a pi** in it soon enough anyway (or worse).

not to mention unsupervised children, too much chlorine, not cleaned for months (if at all)

I'd give the communal pool a month before it is closed down for 'repairs' and not reopened.

In China i avoid swimming anywhere as it attracts the perv's with cameras.

Not all people with cameras are perverts. Could be a bbc reporter or an artist?

sorrel:

ah yes

all the Chinese male 'artists' who go to swimming pools alone and don't even swim.

the just want to spend quality time with their phones.

after confronting these 'reporters' (they ran away without even waiting for an interview), and complaining to staff on several occasions, i decided it was too much hassle and stopped swimming.

Yup. Too many perverts here. Tell me about it. We have a local security guard who I will put on the deck one of these days.

Good link ambi. I can spot a government official from 100 yards. I bumped into some a few weekends ago. Panda ciggies, staypress trousers and attitude. Easy to spot.
