Can not milk a pig . Only cows, goats, sheep, camels, horses, and cats can be milked. Chinese ''milk'' bears. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bile_bear

Rin:

Poor bears. :( there has been a lot of progress banning this vile act in South East Asia, hopefully China will follow.

TedDBayer:

I googled it, in the middle east they make cheese from cats milk, How hard up can you get? My experience is female cats don't like being held, I have one that I can handle, actually she gets on shoulders, they others are chain saws.

Supposedly it should be similar in taste to human breast milk, so I guess in China it would never fly and be replaced with contaminated formula.

But as Chinas milk production is generally pretty low, getting milk from pigs might not be all that bad of an idea

I guess now I will be thinking about bacon flavored milk shakes for a couple of hours.

As an example of how dumbass the Chinese really can be, I attended a breakfast with some business guys in Yunnan a year or two ago. A selection of different eggs was served during the meal.

A conversation started about eggs, their flavour, appearance etc. As a joke, I asked them what they thought about pigs' eggs. Even I did not think Chinese could be so dumb that would believe pigs' eggs actually exist.

How wrong could I be. I then had to back track and explain to them that pigs are actually mammals.

Scandinavian:

How dumb you are. All mammals have eggs. They are fertilized by the males sperm inside the uterus, thus we never actually see the eggs.

I am aware you probably knew this already, but did your dinner companions after you teaching them about eggs ?
