Q: Do you think your neighbor or employer would turn against you?

People are easy to manipulate. Most of us do what we are told, and watch as terrible things happen around us. We think we are not capable of evil, but time and time again, history shows us that good people can be influenced to do bad things. Think Nazi Germany, Rwanda, Burma, etc.

Separate a group of people, dehumanize them, any harm against them is not your responsibility, but the government or the good of the people, and people will do just about anything.

T-square, Cultural Destruction....

Yes, definitely. It's already happened here on a few occasions - it could easily happen again!

Hopefully, we'll see enough warning signs before that happens.

I feel fairly safe in my immediate neighbourhood, and I would expect that if things started going REALLY bad, a few people here (at least) would be helping me get out.

My 'employer' - has already screwed me on a business deal - so not much more of a step to going much further...

Maybe.

That is why I agree with Janosik and Whyhowwhen that as loyal forum members

we need to ensure that agitators are punished.

Here's a news flash. Every negative comment on a forum can result in up to 2-3 deaths. So really these people who think it's funny to be critical, irreverant and disloyal belong in prison...or worse.

I think I can speak for all of us when I say this forum should have UNITY of thought. People should log on here and be sure to read the right things and feel good about what they think.
