Icnif77 i've applied for those jobs on 'echina cities' but all in vain.Its almost one fucking month without ajob

icnif77:

Apply in person at Training centers in the city. It is not easy! You must walk 'the doors' daily, and be persistent. When you're applying in person, talk to FTs at the School. Sometimes, you can get good vacancy info from FTs.

If you are sending your CV daily, and you're not receiving any replies from Schools, something is probably wrong with your CV. Try to 'remodel' your CV, make it concise and shorter. Chinese don't enjoy reading long stories (CV).

Include your photo, passport scan, Degree diploma, TEFL/TESOL Cert., Reference letters (from anywhere, if you don't have Chinese schools teaching experience). Chinese schools won't reply, if they are not interested in your CV.

Apply to ALL job offers daily! Never stop, till you don't land a job.

Another part is your appearance. That is entirely personal experience, and I cannot advise you on that. I know (from reading posts here) African Americans, Africans and Native English teachers of Chinese descent are all having trouble to get teaching job in China. If you are one of them (or Non-native teacher), you must work harder (than Native teachers) to get job in China.

At least 60% of all Schools in your city are looking for an English teacher. Apply also at Public Schools, which are less picky than Training Centers. New Public Schools openings are always a month before the end of semester (January and June)

Good luck!

Shenzhen has standards. If you do not meet those standards , you will not be considered. Try another city.

dom87:

standard = working illegally?

one thing is for sure: no where in china are any rules or standards

As I have said before. It would be a good idea the the person teaching English can actually speak English. Your grammar sucks.
