Q: Does China get tornadoes?

Random question I know, but I'm just curious. China does have a lot of flat plains which would suggest the possibility of tornadoes occurring, though obviously not on the scale of America's Tornado Alley. On another note, the word for tornado in China is awesome : 龙卷风 (long juan feng) literally: Dragon curl wind.

Yes, but only about 1% of the frequency in America.

China does get hit by many typhoons(hurricanes) every year though.

The main reason is China lacks humid air from oceans.

The title means"Possibility of tornadoes in our country is only 1% of it in America, leading to difficulty of accurately forecasting"
