Q: Does China have any odd bugs?

Does China have any weird, poisonous animals, bugs, creatures to look out for? Probably not in the city, but in the rural areas I mean.

We had the "Five Step Snake" in Guilin. According to my students, if it bit you, you would take five steps before dying....

To be honest, this did not scare me at all. The one that DID scare me is the one that bites you and leaves you agonizing for a week before being discharged from the hospital. At least the five stepper you are bitten, you yell "Oh Fuck!" and y You die. No suffering involved.
