Q: DPRK September 5th post

Well it seems we are running out of road .
So will this latest upcoming event push China into action?
I can't believe China will do nothing when it could become the worlds Hero by taking control of the DPRK.
If the shit is going to hit the fan I hope it is after October 9 when im home away from the Thunder dome.

And South Korea says it want the US to deploy nuclear tipped missiles in South Korea. They were pulled out a few decades ago to appease China and North Korea. The South also is talking about building nuclear submarines. I guess kudos and congratulations are in order for China.

Sth we all forget. courtesy of a yahoo commentator.

   Ohrian 22 minutes ago

bc - your statement is patently false. DPRK signed the NPT in 1985. Bill Clinton (D) negotiated the treaty in which the North destroyed reactors. That treaty lasted almost a decade. The deal fell apart under Bush (R) when he made the disastrous "Axis of evil" speech. As history shows (D)'s keep the peace while (R)'s start wars. Under Obama 2 terms DPRK launched 16 missiles. DPRK has launched 18 in the first 8 months of Trump plus developed and tested an H-bomb and long range ICBM's. #Trump is an absolute charlatan fool. If you still support this moron you are a bigger fool than he.

Seems Bush's axis of evil speech is to blame. And it makes sense. You make a list of 3 bad guy countries then invade 1. If you were the the other 2 on that list wouldn't you want to develop nukes , knowing that is the only way to avoid being invaded.

I disagree with the last point aimed at Trump, can't pin it on him although his empty threats have made the situation worse.

Nk regime is afraid what we're seeing is a manifestation of their fear. Someone needs to be the voice of in Trump's ear (which is what Putin is saying).

- China will never let anything happened to 'Pot-Belly Jr.'.

- Vlad has S-400 and what not at Belly's border.

They will both prevent any ZATO or 'merikanski attack there. Trumpf-a is running his nostrills .....

The other guy who was removed from Trumpf-a's cabinet few weeks ago (Bannon), wrote at Breitbart that all about Norks is in real against China.

Pot-Belly Jr. tools (arms, platforms and what not) were all assembeled in Ukraine ... can you see similarities with 'ISIS-in-ME' and 'remodell the Syria', yet?

However, 'declining-imperium' won't move away so quick.

North Korea provides 70% of china's textiles. But this is small potatoes compared with what China sells to the US. It is past time for China to stop all this saber rattling and put north Korea in there place. North Korea must be spending over 40% of their GNP on showing the rest of the world that they have nuclear capabilities. If North Korea ever tried to send nuclear weapons at the US, north Korea would end up being a cinder on the landscape. Besides the US has the capability to shoot down any incoming rockets. It is all madness.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-09-18/us-f-35s-b-1bs-and-korean-f-15k...

sTrumpf:

Both Haley and US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson appeared on the Sunday talk shows to stress – using language that’s ringing increasingly hollow - that the administration wouldn’t hesitate to authorize a military response to the North should diplomacy fail.

And to demonstrate that, four US F-35 stealth fighters and two B-1B bombers conducted another round of "mock bombing exercises" over the Korean peninsula on Monday, according to Reuters. The US aircraft, which were joined by four South Korea F-15K fighter jets, returned to their bases in Japan and Guam after the exercise, but the latest demonstration of western capabilities likely assures that Kim Jong Un, who views such exercises in the same way the international community views his missile launches, will seek to retaliate with his own show of force.

Pot Belly Jr.:

North Korea, for its part, has said the faster sanctions are imposed, the more quickly it will move to complete the development of its nuclear program, with KCNA stating that U.S. moves to impose sanctions and pressure on the country "will only increase our pace towards the ultimate completion of the state nuclear force."

The drills were a response to North Korea’s decision to again launch an intermediate range ballistic missile over Japan on Friday – the second time the isolated North has conducted such a provocative test. Of course, that test was meant to be a response to the latest round of UN sanctions, which were a response to its previous firing of missiles over Japan, which were a response to…you get the picture.

Vlad&Xi:

Meanwhile, China and Russia conducted joint military exercises of their own near the Russian far eastern port of Vladivostok. The drills are the latest sign that the two powers, which have sought to serve as mediators between the US and North - though neither belligerent has so far taken the two countries’ offer to arrange diplomatic talks - are taking joint precautions should the conflict boil over into war, according to Reuters, which cited a report from China’s Xinhua news agency. Although it is unclear if the message is meant for fat Uncle Kim  or not so fat Uncle Sam.

Those drills were conducted between Peter the Great Bay, near Vladivostok, and the southern part of the Sea of Okhotsk, to the north of Japan. Those drills were part of joint China-Russian naval exercises, the first part of which was staged in the Baltic in July. Of course, Xinhua did not directly link the drills to current tension over North Korea.

A:  It depends on which part of the lake region you want to visit. Most start from NanChang, the shortest distance to the lake is about 30km  and 186km to the government run wetland park, marked by the hut shape symbol on the upper right corner of the map below

October is too early to see the migratory Siberian cranes. November onwards is better, their number peaking in between December and January. The dry season lasts from Sept to April.

Here are some photos taken by a retired local during his self-drive tour of Poyang Lake, dating Oct. 17, 2016.
