Of course state-run medias won't say a word about it, but considering the large number of Chinese workers in Western Africa, let alone business people, and the fact that many epidemics (e.g. the bird flu) originated in China recently because of the lack of hygiene, it's highly possible.
Of course, our CFTU buddy, you also know, as all educated people do, that it's really, really, really, really hard to get ebola. Have sex with a terminal case or bathe in an infected person's blood whilst sporting open wounds and cuts...
Knowledge is power. Ignorance is a tool of the CFTU.
Hey, anonymous! Are you stupid or something, if you are already in China you shouldn't be talking or posting a topic like this, it'll come back and bite you in the a**. You can be found!
Anonymous. You probably maybe just pulled that post out of your butt. Check that your butt wasn't haemorrhaging. If not then we are all safe.
So what.
We all have to die of something eventually anyway, so who cares what it is that kills you?
Pretty sure anonymous is right. Too many people flying to/from Western Africa in China.
Scandinavian:
not arguing with you there, but I have an acquaintance who is working for the Chinese gubbermint in an Africa country and said person is stationed for 2 years with no trips back to mother China during the two years. .... and I would be surprised if that person did anything but sit in the office and eat noodles with the Chinese collegiate instead of going out and smelling the elephants.

The Mandarin Airlines passenger was hospitalised on Thursday after landing in China, where he was found to have a fever. Two crew members were also placed under self-quarantine.
Ebola is not easily spread. The overwhelming majority of Americans exposed to Ebola was because they were helping in some way as nurses docs or other. Chinese are not that selfless.
Chinese hospitals have a training sessions to prepare for such disease. They have isolated hospitals that specialize in caring for Ebola. Including training on what to do and how to handle these patents' in transition. I went to one last week as i work for a hospital. They are prepared.
Ebola is probably no worse than the side effects of streetfood.

My wife told me a couple of days ago that she read of a case in Ningbo, which is in Guangxi, the province i'm in. Don't know the source of her information.
