I'm guessing your Chinese but.................................... all of this is only hurting Chinese people. The owners of those cars are Chinese. The workers at those factories that closed? They're all Chinese. And if you think about it, there's a billion people in China. How many people have Japanese electronics in their homes? It's very childish of China. I love China and I love being here but the rest of the world is laughing at this.

Damaging stuff is never an example of good behaviour. Well, in this case it's also an example of nationalism since the target is specifically Japanese stuff.

No, it's extremely poor form.

I think most Chinese are ambivalent, the Japanese are never gonna be popular here. I read recently that Japan's future is that of a subservient neighbor to China. The government in both counties probably know that.

If they hate Japanese stuff so much then lets see them get rid of their electronics, Magna, computer games, cars, movies, etc.

Destroying other people property is never good, especially vandalism. Attacking citizens of a country with whose government you do not agree with  is especially reprehensible.

The Chinese government is actively pursuing nationalism at home to counter a slowdown in the economy and being aggressive towards its neighbours to assert its ludicrous claims internationally as energy resources become more scarce. This is a dangerous position to take and can only end in violence (domestic, most probably). By damaging links with Japanese businesses established in China, the protestors and their supporters in government will contribute to creating a faster decrease in productivity and slow the economy even further; this in turn will boost nationalism and engender greater civil unrest, which will ultimately get directed against the state itself.

So, no it's not right. In fact, its stupid and counter productive. Chinese protestors should be demonstrating against the government's domestic and foreign policies.

Its senseless and abhorrent behavior. There was supposedly some bike ride around town organized for all the cyclists to show support of all this.

I wanted to take a hammer so we could show support by hacking off all of our Shimano derailers and brakes. Im sure all their fellow countrymen would have loved the idea.

NO, it isn't good behavior! What an ASININE question. All it shows is out of control, highly nationalistic, irrational thuggery/vandalism! :( Believe me, Japan will get through this just fine. They are a tough and resilient people.

It's not a good behavior

The people who make these stupid things can be divided into five categories

1 ppl who have no cars and jealous about the ppl who own a car and prefer to destroy it

2 ppl who wants to steal or rob something valuable during the chaotic

3 ppl who sell non-japanese cars to improve their sales volume

4 ppl who are rich enough for commercial hype

5 ppl love their country and have little idea about expressing their feelings in a reasonable ways.

But they are all in the name of patriotism

ya the poor chinese that work 10 15 years and save their money to bye their 1st car gone i really feel sorry for these people     and then the factory workers sabotage the place they worked they will not have a job now then the chinese man saves his money opens a jap resturant has no connection at all with the japs just serves japenese food boom gone because it was destroyed unreal

snowballeffect:

To be honest, Japanese cars in China I can understand, but to open a Japanese restaurant here really is pushing it.

In the UK, with the help of the Americans we fought off the Germans on the beaches, Chinese people weren't so lucky. The Japanese killed my wifes great grandma and I'm yet to meet one person here who respects the Japanese.

I'm not surprised at this at all....globalisation has been rapidly pressed onto the Chinese, I don't think they're quite ready to forgive and forget. The PRC started from nothing 60 years ago and quite rightly in the words of Frank Sinatra 'did it my way'.

If the West doesn't find a new energy source in the next 30 years there could be a new world order. Peace.

Why not ask the car owners?, I'm sure they won't get anything for their wrecked cars. The Chinese should voluntarily give up all their Japanese goods to have them smashed. And anything else that comes from a foreign culture. China should move to be more in touch with its 5000 years of history and move back to 800 AD. cause I don't know what happened then, but China might be happy in this period.

Its all the governments doing.  Do you actually believe the Chinese who own a Japanese car can afford to burn it? Seriously? The Chinese who do have enough money to burn their cars don't buy Japanese cars.

Even the smart Chinese have started to suspect its all a stunt by the government.  Anyone who still believes this shit is real needs to wake up.

Has there seriously been reports of people burning their own cars!!?? Sorry, but I find that hard to believe.

It only destroys Chinese people's property and, when burning down Japanese businesses in China it only puts hundreds or more Chinese people out of work.

No, it is bad behavior at best, and extraordinarily short-sighted and just plain mean and stupid, reeking of hate, rape, and murder at worst.

This is not how to win friends and influence people.

I don't agree with the random rioting and destruction of chinese property but the boycott of Japanese goods could be good for the UK, so keep the boycott up at least. Before long everybody here will be driving Rollers, Jags, Bentleys, and Astras Smile

Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3.
