Anybody watched movie 'Snatch', out in 2000? Why this movie didn't get any rewards?

I love that movie, Brad Pitt was excellent, better still though was 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' a few years before. (My my, this is friendly. Good idea Rabiya!)

I can't get it enough for a week already. I watch it every day at least once. It is great movie, with excellent cast.
At the Pikey's Camp:
B: 'Do you like dags?
A: 'Dags? You mean 'dogs'?!'

I also downloaded everything Stranglers.
But, movie wasn't that popular at the time of release. Or, I guess that was 'September 11 black out' then.

Why is it girls aren't allowed to like films like these? I like 'Lock Stock....' and am so frustrated that the girls here only seem to like the **** romanitc stuff. Back home i could talk about ANY genre...... :o(

@Sorel: How do you mean 'not allowed'? 'Snatch' is very funny flick, with very, very good cast.
As movie is good, it wasn't recognizable at the time of the release. Why?

it is considered 'unfeminine' to watch this sort of thing here amongst the girls here. It is enough i don't like shopping........ 
anyway i enjoy many different film genres and it is good to find people with similar interests

On the another side, 'Snatch' can teach you (Non-Natives mainly) 'how to change your English accent'.

Yes, I did ask 'what's that?', when I watched it first time. But, in the movie most of the US actors speak English in different UK's slangs. You could never 'guess' (just by listening conversation), Mickey is not 'gibbo/pikey' from UK in real.
I am convinced, Non- Natives can learn a lot from this flick.
