Q: Guangzhou-volunteer to teach Chinese and hope to learn English

Hi, everyone!

I am a student who just graduated from Sun yat-sen University. I am good at Mandarin and Cantonese.

Hope to make a friend who is an English native speaker, so we can help each other to improve.

I could teach you Chinese and maybe you could teach me English.

And we could share our cultures.

I suggest you contact non-chinese in your local area - try English Corners.

Be up-front and honest in what you want, which is free English lessons from a teacher.

unless you are a teacher of Chinese, saying you will teach chinese is not entirely honest.

Do you mean language partner?

there is a difference between teacher and language partner, and it sounds like you want an English teacher who will teach for free.

as i said - try adversting in your local area and above all be honest in your intentions.

engage in a conversation with people on this forum - don't just post and run like many do - show that you are a real person with real intentions and not a lazy free-loader who expects people to come to you.

A:I think the first "not smart" thing you did was to think of everyone as a subordinate. They are in fact your team members. You are also a team member and your role is to supervise, not flex your muscles. It drives you nuts when your boss does this and then you do exactly the same thing. Think about it. Adapt, change, bend the rules and be more efficient. -- iWolf
