Q: Has anyone been to Mongolia?

If yes, how did you change your money? Did you withdraw money using Chinese bank card or you carried hard Cash?

Or you used credit cards???

I am planning to go there next week for about 20 days. Searching for the best options, I found many answers.

Any smart ideas implemented??????????

Not quite sure. I've always visited Mongolia in my dreams and battled evil dragons. As far as exchanging cash I would think just like any normal city especially the airports you can find places to exchange your cash for mongolian money!

Hakupatasa:

thanks for you answer matt..
I found that i can easily change RMB in Mongolian banks once I am there or I can even use Union Pay debit card (Using credit card, I have to pay more).

For dollors, they are crazy. Crazy in the sense that clean dollors with recent printing dates could fetch more MTN.

Lastly, there is no way to change MTN back to RMB or dollors in China.

Well, I wish you be able to visit there sometimes in the future. And, this piece of information might help you too.
