I did, but shopped around first because prices were from 900 to 10,000 Rmb for it.

I ended up getting it done at the local People's Hospital, No. 1, on 5 and 6 floors is the Dental Clinic.  There all new dentists do their intenrship under the supervision of regular dentists and have a Dental Director.  My GF knows him and his wife, he is a very nice fellow, graduated from a School of Dentistry in USA, speaks some Engilsh, enough to understand.  He personally directed the whole operation, and I ended up paying him 750 Rmb, nothing to the hospital.

Wow, that's cheap!!! I've been asked around 12.000 in a private clinic. But will look around for something more convenient. Thanks for sharing!

Can you give the exact address of that hospital? I might drop by and ask for some information on dental implants and braces.

implants used to be cheap until someone explained what they charge in USA, then prices skyrocket. But do your homework and check around, you will eventually find out someone hungry enough. Unfortunately, when they see your face, price goes up too. And Debbie Luo, any taxi driver will take you to the No 1 People's Hospital, they all know whee it is located.
