Q: Has the Pizza Hut Menu changed in your area?
Pizza Hut has always had a salad bar.
Not any more - at least not in some places.
And the Menu is now very pasta heavy.
What about your area.
I could have made that guess. I am looking for real time answers not speculation.
They have changed the menu in Chengdu.. so I don't go anymore.. It's very seafood heavy here.. which is odd since chengdu is land-locked. They removed the "american special" (Pepperoni) from the menu about 2 years ago here.. I knew it was the beginning of the end... 
They removed the 'Merican special near my place too. Was kinda shocked. Why would you bring some 'merican greatness overseas to get rid of all the awesomeness?
I understand big companies try to adapt to the local culture, yet it's like taking the big mac out of a McDonald's. Sad, really.

I'm pretty miffed that you already set SciFiBri's answer to 'Best Answer'. That means that with my following answer can never attain the true status it deserves. However, rather like Lei Feng, I will soldier on regardless in my quest to aid others who cannot help themselves.
As far as I know (in the UK at least) Pizza Hut were making a conscious effort to compete with the 'healthy' image other junk food chains had introduced after pressure from angry parents and the government about the (poor) quality of both the food and the variety on the menu. So this led to the mad salad phase for McDonalds, and Pizza Hut changed their menu to include more pastas, and omit some of the more artery-clogging pizzas, and ostensibly even went so far as to rename each branch as Pasta Hut. Not quite the same ring to it, eh?
The name change has yet to happen - and in fact it will never happen, because it is marketing suicide - but the menus in UK branches of Pizza Hut are quite different from what they were 5 years ago. Because it is a global brand, this change has been seen in China too in an effort to appear more 'healthy'. But dammit, if I want healthy I'll eat a carrot. I want lashings of cheese and pepperoni and now you can't even give me that, damn you Pizza Hut, damn you to hell!
