I got my Tesol certificate which is equivalent to a TEFL certificate. It depends how long you want to work on it. My course was designed to last for about a month I finished it in weeks probably around 2 or 3 weeks can't remember it's been so long.

When I took the online class they gave me a huge discount and I obtained three certificates at the end of it. I paid less than 1000 dollars for 3 certificates, but you better wait probably near christmas time or when they have those special discounts. Originally without the discount I would have paid well over 1000 dollars which I didn't want to do.

The place that I went to get the certificate was American Tesol. You are right I'm not exactly sure what the website is but if you google this you should be able to find the site. You can do it online for really cheap and they will give you a book for each certificate program you are gonna take. I got a business book, childrens book and an esl book in order to complete the program. So it's not like they don't give you anything.

ITTT for about $200 plus about $100 for express mail. The uni wanted me to have a TESOL/TEFL or some such but they could have told me sooner. I spent two weeks not because I'm a genius but because that's all the time I had.

I can see why ... I think many of the similar sites are the same company. Try tesolonline.com or teflonline.net. or tesolcourse.com.

They're based in Thailand, as if that helps. jk

That's the one. All of them.
