Sometimes we as teachers must illustrate on the board in order to make students understand. Yesterday I was explaining what dome shaped meant. I drew a dome. Then I made the mistake of explaining further. I told them that Muslims like to use dome shaped roofs. So I drew two short buildings with a tall building in the middle. Then I put dome roofs on them. The only girl in the class had her mouth gaped open (as if a programmed response), I looked back at the board and there I saw my old nemesis, the penis on the board. 

It's been over a year since my mortal enemy forced me to abandon all my lessons with cannons in them. I didn't give up without a fight. I tried drawing them with big wheels at the sides but that just made the laughs bigger. I tried drawing them with small wheels and a male student yelled out happily 'He's a coward like me!". I tried making the cannon long but the girls just blushed. I tried making the cannons short and a housewife broke down in tears sobbing 'How can I put up with something like that for the rest of my life?". I tried making the cannon wider and the students asked if it were an African cannon. I tried drawing the cannon pointed down, pointed straight and pointed all the way up but the look of shock and horror was all too damning. I had the great idea of drawing the cannon in action, rushing into a tunnel on it way to war, but I was fired. Magnificent! I'll  draw the cannon firing of a round, a boy said it should have been wearing a condom for safety. I banged my head against the wall until I thought to combine the 2 ideas!!!!!!!!!!  I drew the cannon firing off a round before entering the tunnel, another housewife sobbed 'my husband has the same problem'. I thought and thought , my lasst try, I drew the cannon with little men pushing it up into position, a 10 year old girl asked if the men were named Viagra. 

How do you fight the accidental penis on the board?????????????
