Q: How common are "boob jobs" in China?
So I'm trying to think of an un-creepy way to ask this question...
I occasionally browse those Chinese portal sites like NetEase, ifeng, sohu etc to see what's happening in Chinese media and I noticed that there always seems to be some sort of expose/story on the sidebar about some Chinese celebrity that "magically" went up 10 cup sizes overnight. Is there actually a growing market for breast implants in China, or is this something that only a small number of hyper-egotistical celebrities have done?

You have to see who can afford it first and then who wants to do it. That would narrowly reduce your margin a bit there. I don't think it's many. Like you said celebrities because they can afford it, and probably because they will be all over the magazines so maybe they want to do it because appearance to them is important.
Typical Chinese business practices make me think heavily padding is the way to go. By the time her virgin husband realizes she's padding, she'll be married to him and 8 months pregnant.
Maybe not that common as you thought,I think probably over 60 percent celebrities(females,of course,haha) here have done that.But as for the ordinary people,not many girls do that though there are indeed some.
