Q: How do I change my iPhone operating system to be Chinese?
My iPhone has a Western operating system and is in English. Because of that, I can't find a lot of the Chinese apps in the App store. I tried to find and download the Xiami music app and it didn't even appear even though my husband downloaded his no problem using his Chinese iphone.

Download itunes on your computer, and register a new account with "china" as your location (i think you'll also need a bank card to register). Then you'll be able to access the Chinese app store and download their apps
Ps. Directly accessing the Chinese store with your current account might let you browse the store but not let you download the apps until your address and card details are changed. So just get a new account for convenience
My friend had problems with her iphone so she took it to the store when she was in thailand. They added some type of chip and it worked. ONly problem with it was it was in Thai. So just like in that story you can go to one of those dealers at the market and they should be able to insert a chip in your phone or replace it to make it to the chinese version. simple as that!
